PvZ Heroes bug

I decided to launch the game today (my game is in French) because I was bored and I was immediately met with unrecognized symbols and characters errors everywhere. Every letter with an accent or every special characters are replaced with massive red X and other special characters making the game practically unreadable because half the words look like gibberish. Does anyone know if there’s a fix for this or if I can change the language of the game without changing the entire language of my phone?
