Re: first time logging on to gw2 and keyboard and mouse controls not responding (pc)

The most common cause for that symptom that I've seen show up here has been trying to get by with using a low end laptop without any discrete GPU. Intel's onboard video chips can't do the job.

Your message named no system specs at all. We offered a best guess at a reason for the symptom. You haven't responded. We'll have to presume our guess was a good one.
