well i dint have any restrictions then i got xbox live gold and NOW it stops working. what is the point of having multiplayer if it doesnt work

I have Xbox gold live and I am not restricted from online play. So what else could be the problem?

 @DILLINGER_GIRL What is the exact error message you are seeing? 

It said that I didn't have permission for online activities. But I fixed it already. I reset my router and unplugged my xbox and did a hard reboot. One of those things, not sure which, fixed it. Thank you for replying!

Well I get the same error it says 

Multiplayer error

You or someone in your group does not have the right permission to access this content.

How would you change this in privacy settings and how do you get to them? I could not figure this out if you could help me with this.

This is my alt account but my multi-player on GW2 (garden warfare 2) doesn't work. Whenever it loads in it turns black with the flower loading image. It's always the exact map (Walnut Hill) almost as if it's stuck or that server is the only one and won't load due to an error. It's been like this for 4-5 days it's infuriating is it your end or my end? I don't mean to be an as* but if it's your end GET YOUR DEVS WORKING PLEASE. I want to play multiplayer if servers are down please fix this seems to be an issue on PC consistently for some odd reason as well as having multiple other reports which you guys are either ignoring or sleeping on as it is not being addressed. I mean no disrespect. 

I recently got a new laptop and was so excited to play GW2 again, and I'm having the same issue. if it's not saying "matchmaking failed" it'll always stay stuck on a black screen with the flower until it boots me back to the backyard for being inactive.
