Re: [PC] PvZ Error Writing User File

@tbfpux27812k I had the account reviewed and they didn't find much. For this one, can you please run through the following for me and let me know if these worked.

First, uninstall the game

Delete EA License Files:

  • Make sure the EA app is closed.
  • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
  • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
  • Enable View Hidden Files and Folders
  • Delete all files in the "License" folder.

Please clear your temp files:

  • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time
  • Into the new window, type or copy & paste: "%temp%" (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER"
  • Your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it.
  • (If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.

Make sure the Recycle Bin is emptied

Log back in and reinstall the game

Make sure the game and the app are on the same drive

  • Hello, I have just tried this, still having problems. Error reading file when trying to launch. I will try it again.

  • Yes, I have 2 ssd's in my PC. My main drive has the ea app, as well as plants vs zombies (was told to install the game on the same drive as the app). On my other drive, I have the larger games such as Battlefield 1 and 5, which work fine. Have already checked files in the other drive that might needed to be deleted as well, still does not work
