Re roll challenge bug

Product: Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One

In what game mode did the bug occur? Everywhere
Summarize your bug I come across an issue where when I sign into the game to play for the day one of my daily challenges already has a check mark on it saying its been completed. After attempting to do the challenge it still won't register and award me for completing it. Re rolling it doesn't fix the issue and the new challenge pops up as completed yet I don't get rewarded bulbs for anything.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Its an ongoing issue with daily challenges.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)

Don't know how I'm suppose to earn bulbs and use them in Lawn of Doom. Very upsetting and frustrating. Daily challenges needs to work properly.

    Same thing. Daily quest refreshed as already completed (Giddy Park Vanquishes as a Night Cap 25/25) but gives no credit and won't go away. Tried doing one extra kill to see if it would push it over, then tried 25 kills to see if that would fix it. Also XBox One. I actually had trouble submitting my own bug report for it.

    @itsababies25 I'm having the same problem on pc. I tried rerolling the challenge, but the game just gave me another bulb challenge with a checkmark on it, which won't give me any bulbs and won't go away.

    Update - only one of my quests was stuck like that so I completed the other (which worked fine) and then the reroll for the stuck one worked properly and I got a new quest that was complete-able. I don't know if this will help with your bug fix or help anyone else get out of the situation but I lucked out and it got me out this time.

    Thanks for the posts, this is certainly a frustrating one.

    I'm curious, if anyone has had the obfuscated challenge complete "randomly" do you know what step was taken to complete it?

    @EA_David The quest that was stuck on completion for me was marked as completed as soon as it refreshed after the daily countdown to get a new quest for that day. No bulb was awarded and it was just stuck with the yellow checkmark and a 25/25 marked for completion. In case it is a factor, the task for this quest (25 Giddy Park Vanquishes for Night Cap) is one I was also given on one of the first days quests came out. When I completed it that day it seemed to go fine.

    The bug does occur more frequently after the last patch on PC. In some cases completing the quest was still possible towards doing as I was told to do.

    It just happened to me after I re-rolled a "Earn score 3000 in PvP as Citron" quest and it gave me a checkmarked 'complete' "Vanquish 25 Acorns or Oaks" that won't reward me or disappear. I am on PC btw.

    Just wanted to clarify what did the trick for you here. 🙂 You mentioned the 25 Giddy Park Vanquishes challenge. Do you think completing that and getting those vanquishes on Nightcap was what helped clear the daily challenge issue?
