Also helped that people mostly ran MB or the Paleontologist in GW1 anyways. (If you saw a scientist get played at all, it'd usually be those two) I never saw someone run Chester seriously until I played the XB1 version. (I played on the PC for the most part then)

If the Zombies weren't playing Super Commando, they'd be playing the Welder, Cricket Star, or Paleontologist - fire was a gigantic crutch in GW1.

I can deal with MB's (or any scientists) just fine. They do crappy damage at range, and have to rely on predictable warps to get any kills. They are, however, mildly annoying if they actually manage to get the jump on you. It's also especially funny if they're incredibly full of themselves - I love to bring arrogant scientists down a peg if I can.

The only reason I'm even suggesting to slightly nerf one aspect of him - is so that you'd see more use out of the lesser used variants. (Shaking up the meta, you know?) Because compared to stock, he's pretty much a straight upgrade in overall killing potential. (And to some people, a crutch)

Stock deals more damage than the MB at long/close range, sure - but his fire rate is lower and he has less ammo.
