is it only with the root abilites?
there might be something wrong with where you're using it, though from what i've seen it shouldnt change anything.

Yes its just the root abilities and thats what i thought at first too but ive tried them just about everywhere. It Works about 1 in 60 times that i try to use them so nearly never
- @Touching1983 There's apparently an ugrade for the pirate which can uproot plants (so sunbeam & gatling) with shots even from a long distance - I think this might be the issue . . . 😬
No it happens every time. Even when i am all alone.

update; i removed battle for neighborville and reinstalled it. it still DOESN'T work. IT SUCKS!!!!
