Looks like my account got unlinked. Go figure. Unfortunately, I can't get into my XBOX Live account atm but I will get it re-linked and hopefully that will resolve my issues. I will update if it doesn't.

@xTCxGR8Milenko Gotcha. That is one of the most common reasons why the password reset does not work. The moment you get it linked again, it should sync up and allow you to play as normal.

So I got signed into my XBOX Live account and it went through all the motions of linking accounts. Then, it gave an error saying it was already linked and can only be linked to 1 XBOX account for lifetime. But I was never linked to any account at @disabled.ea.com so a) wtf and b) how can I get this fixed when it only allows it to be linked 1x?

I absolutely NEED my account back (and my girlfriend's) because we had a lot of progress and all of the characters unlocked... we shouldn't lose our access as long as our live accounts are active or at least EA needs to lose the "1 sync for lifetime" rule.

@xTCxGR8Milenko So, the disabled account does not necessarily mean a different EA account. Disabled just means inactive. Although in some cases it could be a different disabled EA account.

I'm afraid the forums are not the place for account issues like this one. For disabled accounts, you can go about this in a few different ways.

• First, reset the email to the original email linked to the EA account. This should allow you back in if the password to the correct email is reset.
• If a password reset is completed and does not grant access, this may be due to the email being incorrect, or a new EA account was created with that email, in which case you need to reach out to support.

To get the information updated, you can contact our live support on our Help Site. To request a chat or open a case through email. First, clear the browser history and cache from the main browser you use.

•  Select the Games Support tab
• Select EA App or EA account
• Select See all help topics
• Select one of the account issues like I cannot log in
• You may get a pop-up that says login and get faster help
• Select Continue without logging in
• This should give you the chat/email option
