Default Rose:
-Health is 125, rivalling assault classes.
-Her weapon's projectiles are homing, thus she can hit an enemy at any distance without sacrifing speed or accuracy, meaning she can avoid damage; the projectiles have high velocity, too.
-Her weapon has a medium rate of fire that does 10 damage a hit.
-Her reload time is comparatively short for the damage, accuracy, and magazine size she boasts.
-She has the best ability set in the game for almost any scenario:
1. AoE snare CC that makes makes her one of the best, if not the best, 1v1 variants in the game and adds huge group utility. The cool down is rather short, yet it completely disables opponent abilities for its rather long duration.
2. An escape ability that cloaks her character outline and makes her semi-transparent and harder to see/hit. She can also do 20 damage in each aoe pulse, and she can do roughly 4 pulses before she runs out of energy.
3. Another CC ability that completely disorients opponents and removes prime targets out of fights for a good amount of time. More importantly, it can *negate* some of the stronger abilities in the game, like a pirate's turret or Super Brainz spin instantly.
-She also happens to be the character necessary to create portals and turrets in Herbal Assault.
-She has higher and slower jumps that, when coupled with her homing weapon, makes it harder for opponents to aim at, but doesn't increase her difficulty of "aiming" at them.
Add everything together, and she is the most useful, powerful character variant in the game. She can single handedly destroy mechs if she gets the drop on them with her aoe snare; she can "turn off" opponent abilities; she has high damage, health, magazine size, and her projectiles are homing.
So, how can she be fixed? The goal isn't to over-nerf her. I, personally, hate seeing useless variants. She should, though, have perhaps more defined roles as she is too good at literally every role but healing (but she is the best at preventing damage, which is the same function).
Recommendations:
-Decrease her damage potential through lowering damage per shot, rate of fire, magazine size, or make it harder to aim.
Or/and,
-Increase ability cool down times or length of CC
Or/and,
-Decrease health; she should be a glass cannon, as delicate as a rose, if she boasts the strongest cc abilities and high, efficient damage in the game.
Please, let's think critically about this process. She is a very unique character, and I believe small, incremental changes are the best reaction to adjust her many strengths in most contexts.
Don't throw her in the fire; give her a prune.
