Scientist Nerf... Why?

Hey Look a new update!

The Possibilities! 

New Maps! New Character, Balance changes, Bigger BYB, And you know, NOT RUINING ANY CHARACTERS!

Well, it's over, the reign of the Chemist and Marine Biologist is over. (Screw Zoologist, I still wuv him thou)

These were the changes, 


Chemist:

Reduced damage from 40 – 36

Zoologist:
Reduced magazine capacity from 9-6
Reduced projectile distance by 0.5m

Marine Biologist:
Reduced damage from 30-25

And I also saw a warp nerf, somewhere... WHAT!

The damage nerfs aren't really the problem, the hidden warp nerf is, This heavily negates Scientists escape strategy. Sure it makes it so you need to use your warps more wisely, which I don't mind. But, it also makes offensive warps a deathtrap, Pre Update, you'd be able to use both of your warps to move toward a Pea Gatling, use it again and hit him from behind. But now you'd be defenceless for a second while his nailing you, and probably die.

im going to make a different thread talking about how to Actually nerf them, and it requires something really simple.

now I'm going to to get a lot of comments saying "Ha, Stupid Scientists users, You Desevered it, Now let the plants reign supreme." (Rose User)

    Seems in their first time of their life the balance team has make a extremely good balance changes on scientists. 
    If you cry for these little changes what should i say after my poor frozen Rose was pratically unplayable without the feeling of frustration? plz.

  • I remember when Marine Biologist used to just be a faster shooting scientist, then they changed his damage and he became the chemist except with less spread but more damage.

    The chemist and warp nerf shouldn't be there, and I feel the Zoologist's spread and magazine are what differentiated him from the Marine Biologist and Chemist.  I personally don't want three chemists.  I mean honestly, out of range these guys are a cinch to beat considering they only have 100 health and can't do any ranged attacks. 

    I mean a nerf is necessary I guess, but don't make them all the same, please.

  • I'm assuming the warp nerf is to "normalize" the cooldown, since they also nerfed Unicorn Chomper's warp recharge.

    I don't think it's that necessary either in comparison to the other nerfs and they should have just removed Unicorn Chomper's warp nerf instead.
