Shots that cause no damage

I always get a little bit of this but today it seemed worse than ever.

Playing as Electric Slide half of my on target shots seemed to do nothing. Seemed to happen mostly close up and annoyingly when the enemy was low on health.

At one point I thought someone had an invulnerable glitch until about my fourth shot actually did damage. I wonder if this contributes to the perception that people are hacking when maybe it is just the game code

Does anyone else still get this issue and how bad is it for you if so?

Yeah for me it is normally an occasional thing but today was nearly game breaking. I've logged a bug in the other forum so it is recorded.

Whenever I play as Peashooter, seems like more than half the Peas I shoot go right through the enemy.

So, I stopped playing Peashooter 😛

I played Lunchtime At The Lab the other day and experienced it worse than any game I’ve ever played.  A few days later, tried the Boss Team Vanquish and it was stable.

  • @34975634954957 ALL. THE. TIME. Definitely appears to be code issue within the game, specifically when there appears to be a large battle happening. The game fails to account for all damage or even applies the damage erratically. This is what Corns biggest issue is. All the damage from his husk hop is applied at its completion, meaning that an enemy doesn’t take damage from it unless they are underneath it at its completion. This makes it impossible to hit scientists, as a warp in any direction adverts ALL damage. I have also noticed the considerable hit miss rate on Pea Shooter. Basically play pvp, any character you don’t see has a major flaw in its design.

I experience this myself occasionally with a variety of both Plants and Zombies- most recently I noticed it while playing Rose in Ops and then afterward as 80’s Action Hero.

it got really bad as the Action Hero- often I’d fire the Can’t Miss-le only for it to go straight to cool down with no animation, no audio and no damage done.

There were also severe lag issues bad enough to cause rubber banding and the whole game freezing up then jumping ahead to catch up.

@realitysquared Yea, at first I almost thought it was my connection when I experienced the same thing. Happens all the time to me in OPs, especially in rounds 4-5. There have even been times when it even disconnects after the lag spike.
  • I get this a lot with the snipers. This clip just shows how skin-tight the hitboxes are. If you are seemingly 0.0001mm off their hitbox, the shots won't do damage. You have to be spot on. Doesn't help that they all move so weird and cartoony. Especially with the sprint animations. The melee characters suffer from scuffed hit detection the worst imo.
