Im quite the opposite. With the right upgrades, he can be really good.
Snappy is my first character i got to master, and i have done really good with him.
Blue blazes can 1 shot (or critically injure) a lot of zombies, and it locks on. Use it from any range. I enjoy using it in stressful situations, kinda like the soldiers ZPG.
The Blazing trail id useful for chokepoints, you can stand on the side, use it, and wsll off an entire path with it... also, firing it directly at people can do heavy dmg if they forget to run. It can also obstruct vision!
His Swoop slam can also do loads of damage with a direct hit, or it can be used to get him around. Use this ability to start or finish a fight. It has huge finisher potential. It also does decent knockback... Throw'em in the cheese!
His ADS attack is useful for the longer ramge shots, or against drones, and with good splash damage and explosive damage, you can hit those pirates who hide behind corners.
But his real strength is from his primary attack. Multivanquishes left and right, Snappy's a melee character for sure. Keep scorching them till you overheat, then use swoop slam or blue blazes to hold off till you can use the primary...
I think Snapdragons fine!
