I respectfully disagree. @Gowron248 In PVP situations, Snap is amazingly effective if used aggressively. Up until Mastering Snap over about a week, I didn’t really use him as much but would die from players using him in almost every PVP match. While the damage is low on his Flame Blower primary weapon, it’s easy to overwhelm your opponents when at close range and easily get the kill. Aiming your weapon and shooting fireballs is also very effective if you can estimate the arched firing path (except it uses a lot of ammo).
Swoop Slam is another one of those abilities I use a lot especially to get away from enemies or surprise them. Depending how to angle the direction on your way down, he can fly for a long distance or spin around and go back the same direction before impact. One of the upgrades is setting enemies on fire after Swoop Slam and that helps a lot to bring enemies health down before blazing them up for the kill.
The Blue Blaze is something I don’t utilize that often unless I have an enemy that doesn’t see me coming since the fire rate is so slow, most enemies can see it coming and just go behind a wall. The Blaze Trail helps when enemies are clustered together or in TT/capture type games or chokepoints.
And in PVE, I can easily get 100+ kills in a group of 4 with Snap using the above said methods. Everyone has a different play style so I’m not saying you’re wrong at all. I’ve just found a way to use him where I’m dominant 9 times out of 10. He’s my go-to attack character on the Plants team. Snap and Sunflower. 🐉 🌻
