8 kills in one game by the same person! It's one thing to be beaten by someone better than you, but that's not what happened here. I was playing as party corn and had NO CHANCE to fight back. Some times I encountered this player head on, sometimes they came up behind me, in every case I was unable to fight back because of that stupid pulse gun. That's when you start to hate this game, because it feels cheap and unfair! I couldn't even escape from the other player because the over-head maneuver (whatever it's called) that will launch you away was completely disabled! Both my special attacks were. Only the primary weapon was functional, but of course with the little hit count it has, you're dead before you can do anything significant. I have yet to even play as Roadie Z, but I've encountered him enough as plants to know I don't like him at all!! And to those of you who say well citron disables you too--it's NOT the same thing! Because citron's is his special attack he gets to use it once, then there's a cool down. With Roadie Z it's his primary weapon so it's lasts, and lasts and lasts. And he can even use it coming at you full force on his jackhammer so he can knock you back and stun you at the same time making it even worse!

What you've said here is in general the problem with the game overall. It's not really that the zombies are flat-out OP, it's that every death to the zombies feels like total BS. 1. Perma-stunning Roadie Z is nonsense. 2. Scientists should be more of a healer and less powerful. 3. Super Brainz can chain infinitely, Chomper keeps getting stuck chewing. 4. ZPG and Corn "Punching" Games aren't fun when every death feels like total bull.

But it didn't feel like a cheap death. The other player was just more skillful. But with that Roadie Z, it feels cheap, because you can't fight back. Anytime you die because you're completely helpless something is wrong. That's not losing to a more skillful player, that's dying because of terrible game design. It's the same feeling I get when I'm sitting there pressing the fire or special attack button over and over and nothing is happening. It's like the game decides "nope, you're gonna die right now, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it!" It's just straight up bad game design!

@Zaheen1337 you say he is balanced because he is your favorite engineer. That's what everyone said about rose at the beginning of the game because they used rose so much and switched teams to be on the plants again to play as her. Roadie Z is very OP.

I'm sure if you're the one playing as him it feels completely fair, because you know you have the advantage. But that certainly doesn't mean that it is fair.

@tristkiss Different enemies require different approaches, keep the distance unless you're a citron or a chomper. Letting any engineer close to a corn is like allowing any scientist near a cactus.

Well, the Roadie Z is pretty similar to a Scientist, but I have some tricks up my sleeve to kill him. Since your average Roadie Z has around the IQ of an Electro Brainz/Toxic Pea player, they usually work without any problems and even more experienced players fall for them.

His biggest weakness is his weapon on his class. As an Engineer, he's a slow, big target, and he relies on his Jackhammer to get close to the Plants. Since he can't warp or rocket jump, he can't dash forward in one leap and stays visible for the duration of the jackhammer. Thanks to the abanduance of tags in this game, it is really hard for the Roadie Z to gain the element of surprise, si you can prepare a gunfight to kill him. Your top priority is to take out that jackhammer before he gets close, so that he can't close the gap. Next, you need to doge the Sonic Grenade, just strafe diagonaly forward while shooting at the Roadie Z. Then, immediatly backpaddle to prevent the Roadie Z from closing the gap. Last, but not least, you always need to be the hammer, not the nail. Make the first move and use whatever ability gives you an advantage before he starts hiting you. You will surprise the Roadie Z and since most of them lack the ability to rapidly adapt to an unexpected scenario, thus resulting in an easy kill.
And I think Zaheen is veing sarcastic about the Roadie Z. I mean, when was the last time he called a Zombie balanced?

I thought the Roadie was a joke cause his primary weapon wasn't long range. That means he would have to deal damage up close and he's god damn slow. Easy vanquished for the other team. That's until I started really playing him. LOL!!!!!
It's like how people complain about Electro Brainz, the key to him is don't bunch up in a group. Spread out.
With the Roadie, just beware of where he is and shoot him from afar, so when he gets close, bang!

If roadie z is overpowered then why don't people spam him? Its easy to deal with him since most plants are close range. Yea not being able to use abilities is hard. But it teaches you how to shoot with your primary weapon so thats a good thing. You will be surprised on how many people don't know how to shoot with their primary weapon and only ability spam. He has the smallest close range weapon of all the zombies.

The only problem with the roadie z is the stun when you're being attacked which prevents you to use any of your abilities and that's it. this also happens after the all-star tackles you which is extremely annoying and is something that they need to fix

Is only strong when is jackhammer is on.
Without it he has nothing to gap close you.

He's just annoying but there are a lots of Enginner stronger at the moment :V
Welder and Electricst are much more bull with those AoE
