TTK update makes OPS too easy
I know some of this is subjective, but OPS was really thrown off what was a move in the right direction with this TTK update. So you know where I'm coming from, Ops on Hard in GW2 was perfect. You had to cooperate or you were going to lose. Even with cooperation it was tough.
Ops in BFN was way way too easy when first released. Recently they made some improvements. I jumped in one day and was surprised when I died. (For the record I am not a godly player or anything. I do ok, but I die pretty quick if I go out on my own. Even with my preferred characters I'm never going to take out a bunch of other people by myself.) This was a move in the right direction. I notice the enemies actually damaging our objective quite a bit. You couldn't simply just steamroll the waves of enemies anymore. I even failed ops a few times when the players didn't stick together. It was great.
The TTK update comes out and it has reverted ops back into the way too easy state. I hope this gets balanced back to how it was, or ever hard mode level of GW2. Ops isn't any fun without a real threat of failure or dying. It's just mindless trigger pulling without a risk.
Separate but related to this, even when ops got tougher, the boss waves need work. There are too many times when the players just gang up on the bosses one by one and destroy them before they are a threat. Yes, the point is too cooperate and win, but the players shouldn't be winning every single time. That just means there is no real threat when playing the mode.
This feedback aside, I'm loving BFN. I am surprised the balancing seems so "from scratch." GW2 was so finely tuned, I expected that to be the starting point, with most of the balancing centering around the new characters. But, I'm still here for the duration. Love the series.
