this is no bug, this is actually, very rare to showcase legendary heroes, the only way you can get them is to:
A). buy the infinity pack until you get the stickers you need (warning packs are very expensive and character stickers are not guaranteed)
B). grab some friends and go through infinity and fight your way to 25 thousand shards (note: you won't always get a sticker, also, lots of time and friends required).
So yeah, those are the only ways, sorry.
c. One more way is to purchase it for $10 whenever is being sale (pretty rare event).
I bought 2 of these for total $20 for 4 party characters.
The rest of 2 party character, I bought it from 200K sticker packs. Prepare to spend a lot of coins 10-15 million coins.
If you don't want to go to this hustle, level them up until master level when they're on Hero showcase.
Legendary characters cannot be bought when they are showcased. However, as suggested by others, you could play Infinity Mode for a while, buy Infinity Sticker Packs, or simply play away and get the characters to Master while you can.
It appears that unless one has extraordinary luck, Infinity packs will not yield any character stickers until every infinite and scrumptious customization has been collected. Over several appearances, I've spent about 4M on them without getting a character sticker. Corn and brainz are the only two I don't have. For some reason I can't fathom, I actually bought a few packs yesterday. I've already got party corn mastered and hate party brainz, so I don't really know what I was thinking.
@NerdBunker_Sam C) purchase party characters with periodic game upgrades. So far four of them have been offered, two to each upgrade, so I expect corn and brainz will eventually be offered with a new upgrade.
Thanks for the info! I was wondering why I couldn't buy Party Corn.
I was bummed to figure out Monday that I still had more than one day to play them after I returned Saturday night. I mastered party corn in a very cheap way I know to level corns (it took maybe 45 minutes) but I would have enjoyed leveling him up in game play much more. Party brainz, on the other hand, I had to level up and master in the regular fashion, and it was close to torture. Now I don't have to really care if I never get the two characters, they're both already mastered. If I never hear party brainz's insipid music again, it will be too soon.

Ouch, it hurts a lot to hear you say that. It makes me very glad I just did Infinity Time to unlock everything. (It was super monotonous but, I'm glad I did it.)

I, uh, wouldn't call it cheap. I am 99% sure I used your method for a handful of characters. I got lucky and did party brainz during the old plants vs new zombies portal, so leveling went at super speed. Either way, I agree about the music. Its funny, I only dislike a few of the music pieces and party brainz happens to be one of them. (Would much rather rock out to Party Pirate or Party Imp)
What is the "cheap" way you choose?
1. Play private game (turf take over) with 1 player(you) against the same character (weakest one, scientist/sunflower for example) and wreck them up to collect HP?
2. Play split screen and keep killing each other
3. Play in backyard and keep killing bosses
4. Play in backyard with your friend and keep killing each other.
5. Or I miss something?
For the side note, I didn't like any of these, I like to play gnome bomb and collect as many kills as possible since they tend to focus on the bomb, instead of each other 🙂
Both peashooters with sombrero bomb and corns with BBB can level up faster than light. Private herbal assault, zomburbia, no plant team and cosmic overload for zombies. After taking out the turrets, hyper or husk hop to cap point, face the wall and wait until you're down to 20 health. Pop out bean or BBB against the wall. The idea is to time the bomb to go off right after you've been vanquished. Rinse, lather, and repeat. The XP is unreal, about 10 minutes (2 games) per prestige.
I only did this for law pea and mob cob, both of which I hated playing. I would have preferred to do party corn to good old fashioned way, but I thought I only had one day to get him and party brainz done.
Is the idea to get a lot of HP from revenge after dying:"STILL GOT YOU ! " ?
