I have exactly the same problem. I feel so frustrated. It seems many people here have the same problem. One of the players has published the YouTube video explaning the problem. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCwn4_Tv5YQ I've been stuck unable to connect, and EA's been giving me the runaround with generic fixes that don't work at all. 😒This is happening to so many of us, there should be something we can do collectively to push for a real fix.
Hi Lanoa, thanks for providing further information. I checked the video and that's related to PVZ BFN, while the post here is related to PVZ GW2. Can you please confirm what error message you see in your end and for which game version it is?

Hello, EA_cuervo , I am getting "Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your network connection (...)" error message.
When I launch the game, everything seems fine at first - I see the main screen, then the matchmaking starts. After that, a blue screen appears with a 'spinning daisy,' and this process takes a long time. Then, suddenly, nothing happens, and I’m sent back to the main screen with a message saying there is no connection. It feels like the system is verifying my profile and then rejecting me. This only happens with this specific game and only with my profile. I also noticed that a lot of people on the forums are experiencing the exact same issue, so it doesn’t seem to be just me.It doesn’t matter where I try to connect from - different computers, different network connections - the same issue happens with my account.
BTW, the game works fine on my son's account but not on my own. Everything was fine until December. it seems to be an issue tied specifically to my profile on the server side rather than a hardware or software problem.And one more thing: a few days before something strange happened. My daughter is the one who plays on this account, and there was another player who was cheating and harassing her. They were able to type anything in the chat, and somehow, they made it so that my daughter’s character kept dying and respawning over and over - dozens of times.
Maybe something happened back then that caused this issue?

Lanoa Since you can connect to the game using a different account, this seems to be an account-related issue. I suggest that you contact EA Help Support and ask them to check if everything is ok with your account on their end.

I think so too. I have been contacting EA Help since December 2024 and unfortunately no one helped 😔 I keep getting advice like - reset the router, etc. I feel left alone and with the feeling that the account has already been lost :(
