The Super Brainz character in general is very formidable in the right hands. I know i've backed off several times when a skilled player is using them correctly. Great advice. Thanks!
It actually annoys me when I see Brainz using the laser for anything other than chasing down a weakened Rose who is fleeing, or for shooting potato mines/chompers weeds. The reason why is simple, the damage on it is really low, and it gives away your position. Everything with range out there will zone in on you and start lighting you up.
Also, if you two hit anyone, and then wait the 3 seconds or so for it to charge up all the way with Cosmic, you're going to be eating dirt. That's why I prefer Electro over Cosmic, fast attack with splash dmg.
Sneak up on soft targets, beat them senseless, kick a Rose, spin, then beat her senseless. If they try to run, super ball her in the back.
If you come around a corner and a Chomper starts to burrow in front of you, kick him, it knocks him out of it and starts the cool down timer. Spin before he can goop you, this will kill him and keep him from swallowing you.
I normally walk away with 10-20 kills while constantly and consistently solo diving 3+ enemies the entire game and win far more often than I lose.
