While I might regret it someday since I mainly play Zombies, I agree.

- Anonymous8 years agoIf untrickable is not targeted by tricks, going viral doesn't target, its a blanket trick for all in play. I'm not going to pretend that I am an expert since I have not used the untrickable cards much yet, but I assumed that cards like brain freezes supertrick that freezes all plants on ground would still freeze untrickable, or zombot stomp(I think that is the name) to bounce all plant in ground lanes...
What about chilly pepper? Would that freeze a fossilhead?
Or another question about an instance that happened to me a while ago... I had two fossilheads and a planetary gladiator in play, and plant hero used his supertrick bounce a random zombie....abd the gladiator bounced.
Now, was this random, or was this because the other two technically aren't there. Or at least cant be targeted...but it's random. But it also still has to randomly select a zombie, and in the end it still has to "target" the random zombies. Am I right or just a bit left? That card is out of whack period and everyone knows it. Your best bets with Rose are briar rose, jelly bean if you have something on the board, jumping bean turn five or magnifying grass to take a nice chunk out. Is what it is.
- Untrickable cards cannot be tricked. A plant or zombie card with an ability is not a trick.
Jumping Bean should be able to bounce any non graveyard Zombie while springbean cannot bounce untrickable zombies.
Chilly Pepper should be able to freeze untrickable zombies as well.
But I am open to correction. Get rid of all your Mayflowers. They lose to every Rustbolt I've ever played so I stopped using them.
- Anonymous8 years agoSlow your roll there bud, that's a little bit extreme. Rustbolt is able to turn mayflower into a nonfactor, I won't dispute that. But there are ten other zombie heroes, and only a couple of them are able to do similar.
Think about Roses supertricks. Yeah all of them. The worst of hers is still a powerful deck of hers and gives you a card on top. Goatify and transmogrification(you want to talk about overdoing it) oh and to top it off a -2/-2 Today I saw the ''nightmare'' FossilHead. My enemy played Middle Manager, and, in the turn 2 put FossilHead. So it was a zombie 5/6 in the second turn. It's kind of intimidating, but as Grass Knuckles is not afraid of anything, I was not afraid either. My enemy got quite excited with his zombie, and put Vitamin Z 😞 .
however, I won, maybe because I'm used to play with Knuckles, and he does not have many tricks, you almost always have to beat the zombies in battle 1vs1.
I was hitting with Bonk Choy. while he was interested in getting Captain Cucumber out of the field.
Bonk Choy + bonus attacks (Knuckles superpower), -6, another Bonk on the next turn...
I guess it's not so roguh how you think, eh? hahaha I'm kidding, I guess I was lucky, well, he was also lucky... besides that he underestimated Bonk Choy. 🤔
Now, after playing against these deck very often, I got the strong feeling that nerfing the candies again could already do the job to balance in the deck.
- Anonymous8 years agoI think that healthy treat helped out the Zombology teacher and going viral quite a bit. I have been playing plants a little more often lately, because for the most part the wait times are quite a bit shorter, and I have noticed that hearty trait is way more popular nowadays, and I don't like using this comparison, but it is pretty much the same as when clique peas were unveiled to everyone, and the vast majority of the games I played were vs megagrow.
I have to say though, I played against a couple decks yesterday, and both were Zmech, and neither of them used fossilhead or going viral during our games, and both had really good decks. The one I wanted to mention was using a variation of the strategy deck "stop hitting yourself" and I wanted to message them after to tell them how much I was impressed by his/her deck.
Those are my favourite decks, to play with and against, and I think it's mainly because of the bit of original thought going into the decks and many of them are really good without having to take the easy way to victory, and just go with the meta of the moment.
One thing that everyone who has struggled with playing vs these decks needs to realize, and remember when you get frustrated...is that the more you play against those decks, the better you get defending. Every deck has a bit of a weakness, and the more you see them, the more likely that you may expose that weakness, and eventually when you see those cards come out, they are basically an annoyance more than anything.
Of course there are still going to be times when you get throttled, but it happens to all of us.
Yesterday while playing with one of what I consider to be my top plant decks, I was annihilated by yet another Zmech. This time, it was while I had nothing to play till round three, and he just waited and then plopped down back to back stompadons and then played a cone zone environment on my planet of the grapes, followed by a fossilhead, although it didn't last long as I have a set of jellybeans in the deck, but I couldn't get anything going. And while I made them work for it, in my opinion, I had lost turn four when I was unable to remove either stompadon and then a flock of annoying hearty zombies lol Thing is that a nerf shouldnt make a signature card unplayable. they certainly did this with cliquepeas and it was more or less apropriate I think. But in the case of fossilhead I think it might be more apropriate to fix the shell around it instead of the card itself. Fossilhead would remain a great card but the rest of the dedicated deck wouldn´t be as good as its now
