I'm extremely hyped for this remaster but one thing that let me down a little is that VS mode & Co-op are relegated to local only as opposed to online. Is there any plans to eventually add online play as I'd love to play VS mode against online friends
Yessir, we need this then game will be so fire.
I strongly agree. But if they do it, hopefully modders don’t ruin it with unkillable plants and infinite sun/brains.

I was watching a youtuber(xplodin apple) play the vs mode with his friends on xbox, and it looked so fun! Sadly, none of my friends like pvz, so I could only play it if an online version was implemented. Right now, I probably won't buy the game, but if online was added, I would buy it instantly, it just looks so fun and replayable.
Genuinely, online support would make it worth the $20 price tag. Replanted currently is not worth it (to me) and online features was a huge request throughout the years, so it's greatly disappointing for most of us that it is absent from this remaster.
True! I hope this comes for the release, they have 3 months to implement this so they have plenty of time.
