Hello! Sorry to hear about the color issue with A Way with Words, currently the game is displaying in color as designed. When our letters appear black on our screen, it’s usually caused by a setting on your device or browser.

Why this is happening:

• Browser accessibility settings like high‑contrast mode or forced dark mode
• Windows color filters (grayscale or high‑contrast themes)
• Browser extensions can override page colors
• Monitor or display settings that reduce or remove color
• Outdated graphics drivers can affect how colors render in the browser

Try these steps to correct the issue:

Check your browser settings

• Turn off high‑contrast or forced dark mode
• Reset zoom to 100%
• Disable any “reader mode” or color‑changing extensions

Check Windows color settings

• Settings → Accessibility → Color Filters → make sure grayscale is off
• Turn off High Contrast themes

Try a different browser

• If colors look normal there, an extension or setting is causing the issue

Restart your device

• This resets display filters that may have been turned on accidentally

Update your graphics drivers

Outdated drivers can cause color or rendering issues on a browser‑based gaming site like Pogo, this is the #1 cause of display or loading issues.
