- @don1866 POGO does this with all the games. Or, every game I play. What I do to get out of Canasta lobby without losing ranking points is: I just x out of POGO on my top browser tab. When I log back into POGO, and go to Canasta, my rank is the same.
For a while the problem of losing points overnight and after winning, not losing, games, it has returned in a ferocious manner. Now I lose points after EVERY game, win or lose, many more points overnight (14-31). Nothing has been done, no communication from the EA tech peopl etc. It has now been well over a year. It's obvious that EA doesn't care, no gems associated with Canasta, few badges, few challenges etc. You are excluding a large number of people especially older people during the pandemic quarantine period which in many places still continues. What a disappointment! The environment is hostile, with a "moderator" bot that accuses people of "swearing" when them use a normal word that apparent includes the right order of letters. Ridiculous. 2 more months of membership and I, and many others will go elsewhere. But you don't care. Keep your gems, keep you increasingly dumber games. You need us way more than we need you.
Pogo i doing a wonderful job. For 2 or 3 months I did NOT lose rating points overnight. However since mothers day I have lost a minimum of 40 pts per night to fall from 1148 to 987. Thank you so much for continuing to do nothing on this problem and in fact making it worse.
IIt's been almost a year. NONE of the complaints about Canasta have been resolved. ZERO!! In fact, getting worse. Lose rating points , many, every time my opponent chooses to quit the game. Still lose rating points overnight. EA will continue to do nothing because there's no profit, no gems etc. Once in a great while a challenge. I'm done with Pogo/EA when my subscription is up. It's also not he same fun, the same climate as it was a year ago.
I certainly won't hold my breath. It's worse, not better. Please stop with your fake "concern" and do something!

Wanted to give an update on Canasta Ratings after games. We have received multiple reports and our team is currently investigating the cause of this.

canasta games rating goes down after winning games,
I have always lost points almost daily, but this was a different situation. I finished playing a rated game. I did not leave the site. I decided to work on a badge playing with bots. As soon as I hit that category, MY RATING DROPPED 40 POINTS. THE GAME HAD NOT EVEN STARTED!!!!!!!
We're approaching a year with this rating issue. It's getting worse, not better. I have been playing off and on since early morning, and every time I return after a brief break, my rating goes down, anywhere from 4 to 21pts. Once in a while when I win, my rating increases, usually it drops. I just beat a player rated at 1235 by 1000 pts and my rating dropped from 985 to 969. It's patently unfair, only happens to some of us, we all pay, and EA does nothing but ask for the same dumb info over and over.When will something be done? The easiest thing to do is count wins and losses and drop the rest of the data you collect. EA NEVER EVEN REPLIES!!
