I don't use chat, so I don't care one way or the other. I would rather play all my games with computer players, assuming that those computer players are competent In the case of Canasta, those computer generated players, especially in a four player game where I have one as a partner, are completely incompetent. The game is so horribly written that I would hope Pogo would find a better version of it.
I don't like playing human players. For decades (back in the 1980s - present) we have lived in an era where everyone wins a trophy. so that no one loses. A lot of little kid organized games haven't and still won't keep score. As a result in the end everyone loses. People need to learn how to deal with adversity at a young age so that when they become adults they have the confidence to fight through and overcome it. Sometimes people win, sometimes people lose. People who lose this time may win the next, but they won't if they quit every time they start to lose.
I won't play Canasta against humans. In the past when I played them, too many quit the games when they started to lose which affected my rankings. So I play only against and with computer generated players with all games whenever possible. I won't play Pogo games that don't give me that option unless it is a challenge game. In that case I have no choice if I want to win the challenge..
That said, in regards to the constitution freedom of speech means that government cannot censor speech. It has nothing to do with businesses.
Message boards for decades have been trying to explain that to their users and it never ended well. Many Message board owners had to ban anything and everything in terms of language and topics just so they wouldn't have to monitor and officiate anything and everything a user or users posted. No one wants to deal with flame wars. When that didn't work they started to ban users which in a lot of cases caused a lot of message boards to go under.
