FarmMerge Problem

For two days, the screen states there is 'no work' to be done.  I have plenty of coins, but the Buy Land message has not come up.  This has to be a glitch in the game.

There does not seem a reason to play this game if you can't do anything with it.

Anyone have similar problems?
