why is every one having trouble with hash tag showing up i cant type to my friends in the becuase of hash tag

Having same trouble with another screen name. This name seems to work fine. My other screen name has the hashtag problem. I am lucky my other screen name expires next week. I am glad I only buy monthly subscriptions. Incidentally Pogo, why would one screen name have the problem and the other not have the problem on the same computer?
