How is a person picking up a frozen pile

Ok when inopen a room for Canasta I never change my settings, it's says froze on the pile but she kept picking it up?? How is she doing that? Any suggestions or answers to how she done this?

Hello, thanks for reaching out! To pick up a frozen pile, a player must: Have two natural cards in their hand that match the top discard.

If we can do this, the pile becomes ours and unfreezes 🎉As seen in the picture below.
