abbycattx I am also having this issue. I have found that the only time I have ever received the energy for Merge Academy is if I go into the game and use the energy so it is below the 100. I selected the crates for Farm Merge Valley today and when entering the game had the 40 you start with. I don't see the point in going into a game to waste energy/crates just to be able to then claim them as a reward. Can this be looked into please?
That seems to be the case which is really stupid! Same thing happened to me as well. =/
