Merge Academy Level 1502

When I complete level 1502, it just continues making matches and clearing blocks. It will not finish, award my coins and end the game. I can't progress any further. Since this game is included in the "Surf's Up Challenge I can't complete the badge I'm working on for this challenge.  Very frustrating! Can anyone help me with this? Yes, I've done all the normal troubleshooting steps like clearing cache, etc.
