Hello! I understand how frustrating it can be when a game doesn’t seem to be working the way it should.

Currently the game itself is working as designed on Pogo, however browser‑based games can be sensitive to differences in each player’s setup and configuration on their devices. Even small variations between systems can lead to very different experiences. Modern devices and browsers are constantly working in the background to keep things secure, fast, and up to date. This includes updating, patching, optimizing, syncing, and managing system resources. Some updates notify us, while others install quietly behind the scenes.

These changes can absolutely affect how a single game loads, connects, or performs. This is why troubleshooting our devices and performing system checks can be incredibly helpful — not only for Pogo, but for the overall performance and security of our devices.

To help explain what might be happening, here are some of the most common system checks:

    • Outdated browser versions
    • Outdated operating system (OS)
    • Browser extensions or add‑ons that interfere with game scripts
    • Corrupted cache or cookies
    • Device performance limitations (older hardware, low memory, etc.)
    • Outdated graphics drivers (huge for gamers - this is loading, visuals and playing. #1 cause of freezing)
    • Hardware acceleration settings (on or off can affect performance differently)
    • Security software or firewalls blocking game components (can change how cookies, permissions, connections work)
    • Multiple open tabs or heavy background usage
    • Power‑saving or battery‑saving modes reducing system performance
    • VPNs or proxy connections slowing or blocking game traffic
    • Router/Internet issues (modems and routers are like little computers and need maintenance)
    • Pop‑up blockers interfering with game windows or scripts
