Merge Academy - Lost Energy when claiming bonuses

For days now I have noticed that I lost my 100 energy when claiming my bonuses.  I have managed a work around by playing the game - using my 100 energy first - then when I am at zero claiming my bonu...

The same thing has happened to me twice.  On top of that,  I purchased  100 units of energy (20 gems) and it gave me 250 units taking extra gems
