Merge Academy - Lost Energy when claiming bonuses

For days now I have noticed that I lost my 100 energy when claiming my bonuses.  I have managed a work around by playing the game - using my 100 energy first - then when I am at zero claiming my bonu...

I'm having the same issue. Do you think they will actually do anything to fix it? They even put a challenge for today...
