Merge Academy a daily quest when the energy hasn't been fixed?

I am having the same problem. I have been at club level for a couple of years.

It truly stinks that this is a daily challenge as you have said. However, there is a temporary solution while they work out the glitch that should at least help you to get the badge today.

The problem with the energy is that it actually does accrue while you are out of the game...however, when it hits 100, it resets to 0! My best tip, therefore, is to open the game and let it gather a few energy. Use any generator a few times. Then, within the next hour or so, check back in the game. You should have some energy to use.

You can also just leave the game open on your computer & energy will accumulate.

Many Players have complained about Merge Academy not regenerating energy...Pogo says they are aware and trying to fix it but its been DAYS.....I will NOT buy energy when the game is supposed to give energy after a certain amount of time... Tech Support NEEDS to notify us via email or notifications WHEN they estimate this will be fixed or when it is fixed...its ridiculous...i play this game EVERYDAY and now i can not play at all unless i BUY energy....and today 9/3 its a Daily challenge that can not be played.... seriously is someone really trying to fix this?

This does not make any sense. I have tried everything they have suggested, Not a good game right now.

I thought it was just me. PLEASE fix this issue. I do not want to leave the page open when I am doing other things.

Having same issues with energy and now there's a weekly challenge and still not fixed Please sort this issue as this is a favourite game at minute Thanks
