Merge Academy Coral Secrets - May 2026

Just so everyone can have a laugh at my expense (because I had what can only be called an utter brain mailto:fa@t) I will tell you what I did.  I had intentionally been not completing a final order, because I was hoarding the last until the constellation rolled over.  Rolling right along, doing great, then found the tackle box and totally lost my mind.  Completed the order waiting, which wasted the 400 that I had very intentionally been holding on, thus poking myself in the eye.  All I could do was roll my eyes at myself, lol.  Good luck on finding it, in my case, all the parts were in the upper quadrant, which I usually ignore in favor of diving deep as quickly as possible to get to the corners.  I decided to try a new tactic and it worked, but not like I planned, hahaha!

for me, the tackle box was in the lower left hand corner 2 or 3 rows from bottom and possibly one or two rows over from the left. I hope this helps. 

That happened in the cave board as well as this one for me.   2000 merges and no reward.

And to keep it more on topic, 39 broken tiles,  No 2nd fishing pole.  Taking forever to build things that take up too much space.  Also have 12 multi color coral pieces.  Most of the stickers went into the old sticker book, because the new sticker book and the new side board aren't on the same time line .  So, I don't even have that to work on.  Like swimming in quicksand.   No fun at all.

I will play some of the other games.  and just play Merge Academy sporadically.  It was originally my go to game.  Not anymore.

I have already given up on Farm Valley Merge. 

I don't play poker.

It would be nice if they added more card games like: Hearts, Bridge, Cribbage, a better version of Canasta.

Canasta needs better computer player partners.  I am always stuck with an idiot computer partner that doesn't play properly.  I won't play humans, because when they start to lose they quit the game.

How about adding chess, checkers, Battleship, and Concentration games?

Hello! To create the Fishing Toolbox Generator, remember we will need to create one of the fishing poles first and the other fishing pole will appear on the board. Combining two fishing poles will create the Fishing Toolbox Generator.

I found my final fishing pole at the top in the second row, however location can vary. 

Game Strategy🎉If your board gets too crowded with the Mixed Coral Generators, start using them to create items, this generator disappears after use and can be created again.

I very much agree and like blodissheople​ strategy "Guys....I am enjoying Merge now that I made my own goals. I try to avoid the fishing rod that completes the tackle box. Much more enjoyable playing by your own rules."

This works in many ways:

• Strategy - It’s the backbone of any game and smart playing!
• Self‑set goals - When you define what progress looks like, the game stops feeling like a chore and starts feeling like your own adventure.
• Less pressure - Takes the immediate stress a way of finding the fishing rod, that’s ironically when it’s most likely to show up.
• Winning either way - Whether you complete every objective or not, you’re still progressing on your terms.

We are getting a lot of coins and energy from the mini games, so use that advantage to create or buy those time‑consuming items and invest in extra cabinet storage in the main game.

A bit of patience is needed with the new design of the mini games, I have played each of them and have posted the location of those harder to find generators impossible950​ and shanonrowland​  also gave a hint of their fishing pole location here as well 🙂

Same problem... no second fishing pole to make a tacklebox and have only 13 spaces left to open. FIX THE ISSUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you aren't going to drop the second fishing pole, then make the orders using the tackle box toward the end, not the 3rd order in. 

47/57 tiles --- no tackle box.

I'm giving up. EVERY  game has bugs.

I totally get that most games get harder as they go on,  but should a piece that's needed to create the 3rd order (i.e., very early in the event!) be SOOOO hard to find???

Are you saying you've spent close to $100 just on Coral Secrets? I hope I misunderstood that, but I'm glad you're doing well enough to do that, if that is indeed what you did! I'm over here scraping by on SS benefits.
