Merge Academy Generators are Missing

These are great questions and thanks for asking.

I had to create the first fishing rod, and I found the second one already made as seen in the picture below. This was the exact location for me, and I took a snapshot as soon as I found it. Combining the two fishing rods created the Fishing Toolbox Generator. Please note locations may vary.

Not sure if it's been luck or strategy. At this stage, we know the generator components can be deeply embedded, so I developed a strategy inspired by an old game I used to play called Dig Dug.

My plan was to break through and move around rather than staying in one spot too long. First move across and start puncturing areas here and there. This would give me the ability to create openings across a wider, more diverse section of the board instead of focusing on a single location.

Remember we are looking for a fishing rod to combine with the other fishing rod to make the Fishing Toolbox Generator.

I understand your frustration and the level of difficulty has changed. Some players have mentioned “the generator is broken,” “this isn’t solved,” or “needs to be fixed.” I understand why it feels that way, but this isn’t a bug or a glitch waiting to be addressed. It’s simply how the stages of the mini games are currently structured.

There are currently no announcements from Pogo_Sconnie regarding missing generators in the side games of Merge Academy. If a service alert is announced, please be assured it will be posted immediately.  Please scroll down for additional comments. 

Player feedback is being shared nonstop, I would assume that this level of difficulty does not have long-term sustainability. However if it does, be ready and remember paterns 🙂

🌟When you unveil coins or energy - remember to combine them to their full capability for maximum payouts. Most importantly remember to go at your own pace and develop a strategy!

DO NOT DELETE the "Coral Generators",
Use them up to create space & items that you will NEED, when your able to continue to complete more orders. You will have larger items created & ready for orders - saving gems and time waiting for the parts to create the generators, as the event time runs out. 

Well I have broken 44 or 57 tiles and only have dynamite left and still no piece to finish the tackle box. I have broken 16 MORE squares and still nothing! You are VERY lucky you keep finding these pieces sooooo quickly!  The last game I didn’t find the piece for the pottery wheel until the last row and it was Sunday night! Why even have the game if no one can play it??  This just stated in the month of April! Very disappointed!

I'm on the bottom 2 rows now, and some of those I have opened---and you guessed it---no tackle box yet.  This is a major flaw in the position of where the tackle box.  Why make a requirement for items only generated in the tacklebox to be needed for the 3rd order in the game?  Is the tackle box under a double dynamite?  I'm deciding that doing the side game in Merge is simply a waste of time (and GEMS) if a person uses gems to "buy" energy for the side game.

If you scroll down, you will find my comment that includes additional information and links to where I found my generator(s). Other players are sharing their locations here as well, and likely on Pogo Forums too.

"I know the grift here, but I am not going to buy more gems so I can then buy more energy to uncover the board more quickly. I am already a paying member of POGO. Don't require me to pay more just to play a game. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM!"

Personally, I have not spent any gems to locate my generators. However, due to the consecutive mini-games, I managed to conserve my coins and acquire 3 slots in my cabinet and with the extra energy finish a customer who followed me 2 levels that had a Mega Potion order, that was a toughie.

Thanks abbycattx​ for taking the time to reply and for reading what many are saying.  I believe as you suggest is that what POGO has done has made the game more difficult.  I am on here trying to express that the difficulty does not come with better gaming.  The pursuit of the fishing rod to make the tackle box does not feel like a game...it feels like a penalty.  So now all these players will continue to search and then be rewarded for finding it...YAY!  So now we can start in earnest to pursue the orders.  The next problem in this part of the Merge Academy game is the generators that stop after 4 units of production and then waiting AN HOUR for the generator to recover.  Where is the enjoyment or satisfaction?  And no, POGO, I will not buy anything to speed up the entire process, so I guess this is the real answer.  POGO has created a type of new "game" that is less a game and more a great source of frustration.  Please communicate that with the Powers That Be.  The players are just trying to enjoy playing Merge Academy, but POGO's game is how can we monetize this. 

Same here.  Can’t get the tackle box to fill the order.  Did someone forget to put the other item in to make the tackle box?
