Merge academy lost progress

I used the in-game coins to buy more storage space. When I opened the game again the storage space spot is gone and several of my merges/orders had been undone. The Energy was still showing as used and the coins were shown as spent, but without the storage space unlocked. It's very frustrating. Please give the coins back or make the purchased storage space restored.

    Thanks for explaining what's happening there for you. It might be something simple like a syncing issue. I'd recommend running through a few quick and easy steps to help resync things first:

    • Fully close the game tab and your browser.
    • Clear your browser cache (you can search “clear cache + your browser” if you're not sure how).
    • Reopen your browser and then load Merge Academy again.

  • Same happened to me, now the game will not open. Seems this game has a lot of issues, they need to stop adding it to challenges until they can keep it working.

    Hi, I tried what you recommended and nothing changed. I am still missing the storage spot and coins. Thanks

    Hi folks,

    Can you confirm if you are using the Save & Exit Button before closing out of the game? This step ensures that all your progress is securely saved.  If not, this is likely why the things aren't saving between sessions.

    Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this. I've been away for a while, and so I'm just getting a chance now to check back in with you. 🙂 Thanks for trying the steps, and I'm sorry to hear they didn't help the content appear again. I'm not sure what other steps to suggest, as it sounds like it's not a syncing issue.  

    The next best step may be to connect with our support team for help with missing content, as I'm limited in the support I can offer through the forums.  I'm honestly not sure if they can issue in-game coins, but if you'd like to connect with them just in case, you can reach them by scrolling down to the Still need help section of this EA Help page and selecting the available contact options. Once they have your Pogo username, they will take a look and let you know what they can do to help from there. 

    Hopefully, it's good news, and you'll be back enjoying the game and having fun soon.
