I'm not sure what other steps to suggest, as it sounds like it's not a syncing issue.
The next best step may be to connect with our support team for help with missing content, as I'm limited in the support I can offer through the forums. I'm honestly not sure if they can issue in-game coins, but if you'd like to connect with them just in case, you can reach them by scrolling down to the Still need help section of this EA Help page and selecting the available contact options. Once they have your Pogo username, they will take a look and let you know what they can do to help from there.
