Merge Academy: Treasure Trove Chest Rewards Reduced to one Item

I am not expecting anyone to be made whole.    We would have heard something by now.  POGO has no problem sending out poorly designed surveys  so often that it has become obnoxious.  They could have easily sent out a message to all of our inboxes, notifying us ahead of time of the Merge changes beforehand, to give players a chance to open the chests that they haven't opened up until now.

Not only were we not notified about the Merge changes beforehand, there hasn't been anything posted since, that I am aware of addressing the issue. 

I only have a couple of months to go before my renewal comes up.  I won't be renewing.  I have been looking for other options in terms of gaming sites that are either free or affordably priced and have customer service that at least IMO have  some level of respect for their customers.   If I can't find anything,  I will watch programming on free streaming applications to entertain myself or do other things to entertain myself.  I don't need all of this drama and nonsense. 

As for the POGO forums, they are a mess. I have used other forums before for decades and they are a delight compared to POGO's which are so poorly organized, I can't find the post that you have mentioned in your comment.

Given that EA is under new ownership, I wonder what other undesirable changes we can look forward to, and will we be notified of them ahead of time?  Given what has happened with Merge Academy, I sincerely doubt it.

In the regular forums, the wonderful lady who made the exhaustive tutorials for merge stated that she had several chests that she had saved in her cabinet that were won prior to the sudden change in the chest amounts.  She said all of her old chests now also only contained one item, even though they were won prior.  I also have several chests squirreled away and am going to be incensed if that turns out to be the case.  I opened a couple about 2 1/2  weeks ago and they were full of goodies that I used to move up to the next level.  If my remaining chests are reduced, it will most likely be the end of me paying to play here.  I wonder if POGO is familiar with the phrase, "You don't sh#t where you eat."?  It's right up there with "Don't bite the hand that feeds you.".  They needn't treat their customers like garbage and expect them to thank them for it, or stick around for more.  I've had about all that from this company that I'm willing to put up with.

Same. Trying to actually report it but EA makes it impossible. 

Same here. Treasure chest only gave one item.

With all of the issues that are currently happening with Merge, I noticed that the August Insider  is now out and made zero mention that they are A. Aware of the problems (and you KNOW they are at this point) or B. Working to resolve the current, multiple issues.  The fact that Pogo hasn't acknowledged ANY of the threads about these malfunctions is frankly infuriating and insulting.

I just got 1 level five clock. 

I am having trouble in merge. I had two trunks that I earned and when I opened them they each only had a few coins in them, not any of the other stuff they say they have. It is also catching when I merge things and disappearing and then coming back again.

This happened to me too,spent a lot of gems about 500

I had the same issue.  3 Treasure chests and only got 25 crystals.  Not what I expected at all, and really not acceptable considering what you have to do to get 3 chests in the first place.  If this is a glitch, it needs to be fixed.....
