Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with Merge Academy, having a black screen can mean so many things.
It is possible they could have been preforming updates or testing, Merge Academy is set to be the "Game of the Month" for August 2024.
In the meantime, cleaning cookies is only one of several things that may need to be checked when enduring a black screen.
When you cleared your cookies did you flush your DNS as well?
Have you updated your CAT Cable lately to ensure you are getting top speed from your provider?
Update Your Graphics Driver: An outdated or faulty graphics driver are common causes. Try updating your graphics driver by going to Device Manager>Display adapters, right clicking your adapter and select "Update Driver"
Check your Display Settings: Setting>System>Display to ensure your resolution and display settings are correct.
Updates: Ensure you have the latest update and patches for your system. Our computers have several programs running all at once, on occasion if one is trying to update behind the scenes this could cause a lag in memory, affecting the overall performance.
RAM: How much ram do you have? Ram is crucial for gaming, the suggested minimum for Pogo is 8GB, however I personally suggest 16GB or more.
