Merge tree regenerating for 12 hours even though I haven't used it

Hi... today I went into Merge only to find the tree and the apple pie thingy had 12hrs to regenerate, I hadn't used them... this is one of many issues I had with Merge lately. I have to move items around the board to find a square that will let me sell them. It's a right pain when you are trying to complete a badge.
