No credit for some orders I finished in Merge Academy

I also have been having issues with Merge Academy which will prevent me from completing the surprise event…

Energy did not accumulate as reported but also when the surprise event first started, I completed 3 orders but only got credit for 1… This happened just after the issue was fixed where the daily and weekly challenges were not visible for a period of time. 

Any idea why that might have happened?
