SCAMMERS claiming to represent EA or Pogo
Scammers. I was scammed yesterday because a pop up told me the reason my game was frozen is I had a virus. I was distracted and fell for the scam, which I never do. Lesson learned.
Beware these scammers!!!! Some guy named David ask if you need help? Then he tells you to call [removed phone number] for tech support, some guy calling himself Mac Brown. Next thing he has talked you into buying program to protect you from internet virus. Next he tells you he has to go into your computer. Big mistake. I wound up cancelling my bank card, after I realized I had been scammed. BEWARE.

Hey there, @grammaticalcs.
Thanks so much for the report. I'll pass it along to the appropriate parties. We really appreciate the info.
For help with an EA game from our game advisors, we advise ever only going to our EA Help website, the Pogo Help website, or our official and verified EA Help social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook). If it doesn't have ea.com, pogo.com in the address URL, or if the social media account doesn't have a verified checkmark, then it's not an official EA site and you shouldn't share any information about yourself or your account to them.
