Solitaire Blitz not generating Energy

I only play this game when a badge is available. That means the last time I played it was several weeks ago when a daily badge was available to earn. This morning I click to play it and it only has 2 energy bars. It should have been full energy. This has happened several times over the last year and is one of the 2 reasons I don't play it.
