Solitaire Home Story Malfunction Apparently

Regarding Solitaire Home Story. For over a week I haven't been able to use my stars to advance the story / get thee next furniture item in the Story. I have over 50 stars at this time and it's been a problem for quite awhile now. It worked, then didn't then again it did and now it doesn't.

I click in the Story tab which opens up (currently) Chapter 92. I click to use 3 stars to chose which bird bath. It deletes the 3 stars, I choose which bird bath and then nothing. The chosen item doesn't pop into the scene and I have to refresh the page to get out of that spot and back to the main area. My stars have are back in my stars total and the story / chapter hasn't advanced not has the Get a Bird Statue in the Chapter vanished and no new ones have appeared.

It's very frustrating because I have been stuck for over a week in this same spot and I'm getting super tired of it. I'm a long time yearly subscriber and this is annoying me enough that I'm thinking of cancelling and deleting.
