Solitaire home story won’t load

Hello! Sorry to hear Solitaire Home Story is not loading for you. They recently added a few Valentines Day themes to a few of the games. When this happens, we need to log out of Pogo (not X out the window, log out completely) and clear our cookies and cache and check for any updates. 

🏠 Due to the addition of new elements to the game, if previous cookies and cache remain on our devices from prior to the introduction of the new themes, this may hinder the game's ability to load correctly. Our devices can see these new additions as suspicious, because something changed and stop the connection.

It’s not that anything is wrong, it’s just how "modern browsers" handle stored data versus new content. Browsers can act like Carbonless Receipt Paper that have a white copy on top that transfers to a yellow and pink copy underneath - its storing and copying everything you are doing, so it can recreate our previous experience quickly.

This is why we hear "clear your cookies and cache" so much, it wipes the slate clean for the new content to be loaded.

Other Causes that can trigger this message:

• Ad‑blockers or privacy extensions: These can block new game scripts while allowing old, cached ones to load.
• Low memory will crash a tab if it uses too much RAM. Try closing all other websites while gaming.
• Outdated graphics driver, the number one cause games not displaying.
• Slow or dips in internet, even a small dip that doesn't shut down the whole internet can cause a game not to load.
