Having the same issues even if i use another browser

Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like the game’s freezing right when you try to jump into chores or story tasks. 

The first thing I’d try is closing the game page completely (X out of the page) and reopening it in a new browser window. If that doesn’t work, clearing your browser cache can often help reset anything that’s stuck. It might also be worth trying a different browser (like Firefox, Chrome, or Edge — whichever you’re not using now) just to rule out anything browser-specific.

If the problem keeps happening, could you let us know a bit more? For example:

• Does it always freeze at the same place?
• Are other parts of the game still responsive?
• And what browser and device are you on?

With that information, we’ll have a better shot at narrowing this down. I really appreciate you flagging it. Let’s see if we can get to the bottom of it together.

I am using Safari. When I click on a chore it just goes back to the section I was in. Also cannot move to another section to do the chores in that. Also tried to do a chore in the story and it didn't work and took over 200 gems from me, got them back though when I exited the game. Never had any problem before yesterday morning.

Since you’re on Safari, that may be part of the issue. While some Pogo games can load in Safari, it’s not one of the officially supported browsers as listed in our EA Help guide. HTML5 features (like what Merge Academy uses for chores and sections) can behave unpredictably on unsupported browsers. I recommend trying the game in Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. That’ll help you rule out if Safari is behind the freezing and task failures you're seeing. 

Glad to hear the Gems were restored after exiting. 😊 If anything like that happens again, definitely take note of which chore or task triggered it.

I have always used Safari an am up to level 1924 and have never had a problem before. 

Husband uses Brave and that no longer works for chores either and he never had a problem before

There are several strings on this on the forum. There are a lot of folks having this problem but it has not been acknowledged by any site management yet. The removal of the Easter special probably caused it. I hope someone will look into it before the event challenges are over.

I, too, am locked in Area 2.  I can do chores in area 2, but unable to do any that are in area 1 and 3.  I can't use any stars because the area I am working in is area 3 and I can't get to it.  I am locked in area 2.  I am using Chrome and have no issues with any other games.  My user name is KinderKid2.  Thanks for anything you can do to resolve this problem. Solataire Story Time is one of my favorite games.

I am having the same problem. I am playing on Chrome. I doubt if changing to another browser is going to help if so many other browsers have this issue. Please check into this problem so we can enjoy the game again. I an locked into area 2 and it won't let me go into the others.

This has gone on for an entire week. We're all stuck. We can't do chores. We're brought back to the Zen/Gym page. While we can play levels and earn stars, they're pointless.

There was a problem once before with the game where we couldn't play. It was during one of the holiday special plays. This time it happened when pogo took away the Easter decor.
