Solitaire Home Story

Game freezing on level 615. This has stopped me from getting 2 badges. Every other try it freezes. Not only do you lose energy  if you used a power up you lose  it too.

Hello, sorry to hear about your game freezing on Level 615 of Solitaire Home Story. Currently some players are experiencing loading issues as mentioned in the Pogo Insider for December 2025.

Generally, when a game freezes on a browser-based gaming site like Pogo, it can be our devices alerting us that they’re struggling to handle the workload. Browser games rely heavily on memory, graphics, and processing power, and when those resources run low, the system stalls. The freeze is essentially your computer saying, "I can’t keep up right now.’"

To rule out this possible cause please ensure to follow these troubleshooting steps:

Clear your browser cache and cookies
Old or corrupted cached files can conflict with new game data, leading to incomplete loading or sudden freezes. How this helps: Clearing cache removes outdated data so the browser can load fresh assets without errors!

    Update your browser and device
Outdated browsers may not support the latest game scripts or graphics rendering, causing compatibility issues that result in freezes. How this helps: Updating ensures our devices have a clear pathway to speak with Pogo servers.

    Update graphics drivers (Laptop/Desktop only)
Graphics drivers control how your hardware processes visuals. Outdated drivers can misinterpret or fail to render complex animations, leading to stuttering or crashes. How this helps: Current drivers optimize performance and prevent rendering errors.

    Check system resources (CPU/RAM usage)
If your device is running too many apps or tabs, memory and CPU get overloaded. The browser can’t allocate enough resources to the game, causing it to freeze. How this helps: Closing unused apps/tabs frees up resources so the game runs smoothly.

Restart your internet router (at least monthly)
Over time, routers can accumulate minor errors, memory leaks, or connection instability. This can cause lag spikes or disconnects that look like game freezes. Power cycling your router clears its memory, refreshes the connection 🙂 Additionally it is a good idea to keep an eye on the cord that goes from the router to the wall outlet to ensure it is in good condition, dust free and rated at least as a Category 6 (Cat6) cable - this will help with maximize bandwidth and stability, especially for browser-based games that rely on a steady connection.

Give these steps a try and watch for further updates on the Pogo website.
