the club war idea is fundamentally so anti-simcity, ppl come to play simcity because there was no war, the club war thing is totally against simcity nature. obviously, as you can see, i don't like it, and my entire clubmates don't enjoy it, we just treat it like group assignments.
ok, back to the war,
1. war items are damn hard to obtain:
i keep skipping 10-15 shipments for just 1 item that i need, if it is meant to be random, i don't see why we need to wait for 5 minutes, come on, it is not a PC game, not too many ppl sit there for hours to wait for the endless waiting war items, when finally u see your longing item in the queue, we still have to run for the requirements needed.
the 5 minutes waiting is unnecessary, as the randomness is hopeless enough already.
also, 5 simcash to skip the 5 minutes waiting is so overpriced, while Tokyo shipments just charges 20 simcash to speed up 18 hours.
2. ridiculous to allow any club admins could launch war:
club war is the whole club business, whether u attack or not, u still have a chance to get hit, just 1 senior can launch a war doesn't make sense, since VPs has the power to promote one to seniors. for many reasons, one club may have many VPs and seniors, the whole club is affected by 1 person's decision, that's unfair. i agree that it can't be just the president could launch war, but i wonder is it possible to have like to take at least 2 or more club admins to agree to launch war?
3. war chests are hard to get and contents are boring:
the current war we are in, our opponent club doesn't make attacks at all, they don't repair they don't attack, seems they're running some anti-war campaign, hence, it's not that easy to make points, face the fact, the desired war items is hard to obtain already, even if u have enough to shoot, you have none available targets, bronze chest sucks (i got coins only in last battle, waste of my time and effort), silver chest need 2000pts? isn't it too difficult? in the most active war we had, that's of course the first war when everyone (including the opponent club) was so excited to try.... just 1 person could reach 1 gold chest only,,, the more the war, the less the enthusiasm,,,, with the so not attractive chest rewards
4. disasters :
the disaster system is a big disaster. after 3 wars, i am still using the same disaster(s) i obtained before the first war started. i got new cards but can't unlock, the requirement to unlock new cards is so unclear (unlike your own town, that u can see when and how u can obtain new buildings or items), and i still have no idea when and how there will be any chances to unlock new cards.
the proportion of items needed/damage/energy consumption are so ironic.
i have 3 disasters available:
a: 2 items/1 damage/2 energy
b: 2 items/2 damage/2 energy
c: 4 items/2 damage/3 energy
i don't have a reason to use a or c disaster. Remember!!! all war items are not easy to obtain!!
the club war thing, is just like the new M&M chocolate i saw in the supermarket, they wrapped up different types of M&M with ordinary milk chocolate to make it family size chocolate bar,,,, that is so not M&M, they kill their own feature, now the new M&M melts in hands
