Ok so I thought I would cut corners by posting the problem here first because pretty often, someone from the in-game help normally sends us here to post about whatever problem it is that they can't fix and their developers read posts here.
Really?
I bit the bullet and contacted help and somebody got back to me with an absolutely laughable response.
Customer Disservice at it's best, completely ignore the problem, respond about a completely different issue that I am not having.
Please see attachment and tell me this is all a bad dream

After 3 weeks now
Ensure it's a legit version of the game, downloaded from reputable source - tick
Close game, restart device, make sure nothing else is running, then restart game - tick
Basic stuff really. Are they making sure I'm not an idiot afterall?
My city is still pulsing away like a strobe light though. Or should I say lots of mini-strobe lights?
C'mon I know I am not the only one experiencing this and it's more than annoying 😞

I think wiping the game from my tablet and then reinstalling it has fixed the issue for now but I'd still like to know wtf caused it 😀

Ok this has been going on over a month now.
We are at the point now where 'Help' is asking if I have another device to try the game on.
Yeah and yes the same thing is happening even with a clean install.
Why do the developers deflect blame from their mistakes?
The evidence from this user is telling them there is a new issue and that I am not the only one experiencing it but yet they still want me to get the expected result on a different device?
This has the potential to cause me some big problems.
