Egypt Season Feedback

Couldn't agree more. The biggest letdowns are the uncertainty about the total amount needed to upgrade the pyramid and the absurd amount of event points required to get the Egyptian hospital. This will go down as probably the worst CoM season ever. 

Thank you for making this post. I was pondering this all night - seasonal currency alone was one of the worst ideas ever to come to the game. But then you throw in having to upgrade the Giza pyramid... 25 times!

Did you know it takes 150,000 excavation coins to upgrade the Giza pyramid from level 24 to 25? I have no way of earning 150.000 excavation coins (I already redeemed the 150,000 counts from the Season Collection reward). Even if I spent money to get more seasonal currency, there is not enough excavation coin things left in the seasonal currency showcase 4 that I can redeem to cover the 150.000 excavation coins

This season was terrible even though the buildings look amazing. Next season is Chicago, which I'm not really excited for, but if season currency is still a thing next round, I will not be playing very actively. I've already decided the premium season pass is no longer worth any dollar figure. Yes it gives you a lot of seasonal currency.. BUT THE BULK MAJORITY OF SEASONAL CURRENCY IS NEEDED TO UPGRADE A PYRAMID I DO NOT WANT.

Perfectly said, no information about pyramid upgrades or total points for 4 weeks to plan ahead. It’s completely disappointing, and i have upgraded the Pyramid to Level 21, and bought  premium pass, collected all buildings and 150,000 extra points, still not enough to complete the pyramid, i have that green seasonal currency stacked upto 40k, but couldnt buy anymore pyrmid points (brown points) since they limited each category for 10 stocks! This is the worst season i have ever played in SimCity

Dear EA, 

‘What were you thinking?  An entire season dedicated to the Giza pyramid , with the goal of completing the Pyramid..only to find out there is not enough currency available from completing tasks to accomplish the goal of the season?

This is incompetence on a planning level I have not seen before in the years I have played this game.  What is the point of purchasing a season pass when one cannot achieve the goal of the season?

Many players will be 110k short in the required currency to complete the pyramid.  

EA SHOULD NOTE TO PLAYERS THAT AN ITEM IN THE GAME CAN ONLY REACH FULL VALUE WITH ADDITIONAL IN GAME PURCHASES.

That is simply called Full disclosure, and we the players at least deserve that!

If seasonal currency is the new approach from EA / Track Twenty for the game - then I would rather the game be shut down.

I repeat and echo the sentiments of the replies in this thread, this is probably the worst round I've played since the back to back Rustic / Farm seasons a few years back. The train season is the second worst round I've played since those back to back seasons.

A new season every month is exhausting, I think the game should revert back to 6-8 week seasons.

I hadn't seen this topic here. I've been writting in another topic about the unreachable egyptian hospital where players have this same feeling.... I've been more than 24 hours out of the game. This has gone too far and I think this time I will be able to quit it forever. This game makes me miserable, tired, unhappy, stressed... I can't bear it any more
