iphone and iPad is too hot

My battery doesnt last long in my iPad either but it doesn’t get hot. I believe recharging shortens the battery life if you don’t let it run down to under 10%. This is what I believe and I try to run it down to 10% but if I go out or bed I put it on charge.

i used new iPad pro with m5 chip

I have the same problem recently with my iPad getting very hot running this game, and the battery is draining fast.
