Mayor's pass cap stops me progressing!
Since the Norway theme began last Wednesday, I've been trying to get to as high a tier in the Mayor's Pass as possible.
I've reached tier 25 only for the Cap to jump in and prevent me gaining more points and thus higher tiers. It's now Sunday morning, 16/11, and I now have to sit twiddling my thumbs regarding the Mayor's Pass. I'm not bothered about the CoM. Should I continue with assignments until the Cap is reset? All I see with every completed assignment is the Norway coins not being credited to me.
I bought the Premium+ Pass because I wanted the rewards on offer, and I want them as quickly as possible. Whoever was the cross-brained **** who dreamed up the weekly cap should be hung, drawn and quartered. EA are simply slowing down the Mayor's Pass as much as they can, whilst taking in as much money as possible from players of the game. It is unfair and immoral imho, but hey, since when did EA care about their players, fair play, or giving us all a level playing-field on which to play? I understand the Cap is at different levels for different players. Fair? In a pig's eye.
I am at level 98, and have been a loyal player for many years. Now, my loyalty and dedication to the game is being rewarded by my ability to move above tier 25 in the Mayor's Pass, which has been halted for the next two days, until the weekly cap gets reset. Why should I - or ANY player - he penalised in this way?
I am sick and tired of the liberties EA are taking with the players, usually in the name of nothing more than squeezing as much cash out of their players as possible. They don't care about the high proportion of cheaters who have infiltrated the game, they don't care about fair play for honest players, and they certainly don't care about loyal players who have played this game for years. All they seem to care about is penalizing players who want to do well in the game, grabbing as much cash from them as possible, and making what used to be a fun and enjoyable game progressively more difficult and awkward, and to dangle 'prizes' in the Mayor's pass, which by means of sneaky and underhanded tactics, (like the weekly cap) they make progressively more difficult and almost impossible to attain.
Come on, EA, for once demonstrate that you care about your players, and get rid of this I'll-conceived and grossly unfair weekly cap. (Theme to: 'Until the 12th of Never' comes to mind, for reasons unknown).
